Nightmare on 12th Street...

I went downtown to the 12th Street by Cynthia Vincent sample sale on Thursday before work and scored some goodies! I've been wanting this navajo print sweater since the moment I saw it because I practically lived in the older version all winter, needless to say I was thrilled to see it when I walked in. The black/white/neon sweater is a great lighter weight for summer and I loved the tribal print of the shirtdress which I'm planning on dressing down with stacks of jewelry and ankle boots so it doesn't look too, "ladies who lunch."

Happy Nails...

I'm currently obsessed with the way my nails turned out! It was a little gloomy on Sunday and I decided to paint my nails in bright colors rather than my usual go to, Chanel Black Pearl to brighten up my day. The blue is Essie Coat Azure and the pink is Essie Forget Me Nots. What's your nail color of choice right now?

It's Gucci Time...

I went to the flea market yesterday and thought I would share my favorite find of the day. In a HUGE pile of belts I somehow managed to uncover this gem, a 70's Gucci brass horse head belt. I love the way it's been aged to perfection and has a perfect patina that only 30+ years can do, the best part of all....the $2 price that came with it!

I'm Cuckoo For COCONUTS...

Back East I relied on coconut coffee from Dunkin Donuts for my daily caffeine fix and have totally missed it for the past two years. But low and behold Starbucks has answered my wishes for coconut coffee out West and my iced coffees have been tropically delicious all week. If you are a fan of coconut you need to try it out next time you go to Starbucks, you won't be disappointed!

You Gotta See It To Belize It...

Sorry for the lack of updates I've been super busy for the past month. Between visiting my grandparents, then going to Belize and trying to get caught up at home in the middle, but now I'm back and ready to blog!

I went to Ambergris Caye in Belize as a surprise to my sister who was already going with my dad and the look on her face was priceless when she saw me at the airport. I had such a great trip and Belize was so gorgeous in person, I don't know if I've ever seen a place where the water is so clear and blue. We spent most of our days driving around in a golf cart, eating amazing food and shopping at the same store everyday. By the end of our trip it felt like my sister and I slowly bought the entire island but I couldn't resist all the embroidered, knitted and brightly painted treasures we found. On our last day we ventured out to see some of the Mayan ruins at Lamanai, and were even greeted in the jungle by some monkeys which was such a cool end to the trip.
